Words from our clients:
“Dave worked with us to a create an exceptional water feature, including a stream, 2 small waterfalls, and a 4′ waterfall into a pond! We have some koi fish in the pond, and the sound of the water running is amazing! He went well beyond expectations, and was extremely dedicated to providing outstanding quality and unbelievable attention to detail. We are extremely happy with the end product!”

“Great person to work with. He is conscientious and works as an
artist doing a creation that fits with the customers request as well as making his creation balanced and looking natural for the environment. I give him an A plus rating.”

“Dave was a pleasure to work with from the start. We chose him initially over others, as his design ideas were excellent and innovative, his results were the most natural looking, and he suggested features that we hadn’t considered. he began work according to schedule, and then accelerated the end date due to our request for a poolside family function. He had no problem working alongside our other subcontractors, and he really cared about the quality of his work and our satisfaction with the result….”

“Our family commission Henderson Sculptural Arts to provide faux rock landscaping sculptures and water features around our pool area at our home. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the excellent craftsmanship with the work that was performed on our property. Our friends and family have also commented on the detail of the work and the natural look of the stone – they cannot believe that rocks are man made.
It was a pleasure working with Dave Henderson. His staff was very courteous and extremely talented as well. Mr. Henderson helped to make the construction process proceed smoothly and quickly. We are very happy with the outcome of the work that was done on our property and would recommend Henderson Sculptural Arts to anyone seeking property improvements to their yard, home or business. The quality of his work is outstanding!”

“A very sincere thank you from Alaska Airlines for the excellent job you did on our sand sculpture for the Celebrity Sports Invitational in Puerto Vallarta….you delivered all that was expected and even more.
Since this was our first time working together, I was just a little nervous as to whether or not it would be executed in a professional timely manner. But you delivered all that was expected and even more…. Thank you again, Dave, for making this such an easy project for me“

Spectacular! Fantastic! Awesome! This year’s sand sculpture was all of the above. The tallest indoor sculpture at nearly 34 feet captured the imagination of the thousands of fairgoers who wondered whether you would complete it and it would stand. You did and it did!
I don’t know what you have in mind for 99’ to top this but let’s give it a try. Even though you have been with us many years, each year’s design establishes its own unique presence and never gets stale with fairgoers…. See you next year.

Just wanted to take a moment to THANK YOU and your team for the FABULOUS sculpture you did for the San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau…. As you are well aware, the attendees were fascinated by your talent and expertise. Having seen their logo meticulously sculpted over a three-day period was an awesome site. Dave, thank you for helping us make an indelible impression on Lions Clubs International… You are a gem and a delight to work with…I cannot tell you this enough times…Thank you!

“This is as testimonial to Dave Henderson’s artistic talent and ability: I had a perfect place in my yard (between two large natural boulders) where I had wanted a waterfall for years. However, I just didn’t want to stack up a bunch of rocks and let water run over them, but rather had visualized a more realistic/natural creation that looked made by “Mother Nature”. After years of searching, I ran across Dave at a home show displaying examples of his work. At last, I found someone who had the ability to create what I wanted.
Dave was professional from the beginning to end, and went up and beyond to ensure my satisfaction with the project. He is a good communicator with a terrific sense of humor, and never failed once to return my phone calls (that’s important). I now have a “one-of-a-kind” water feature that my family and friends can’t believe wasn’t naturally created. It is without any hesitation that I recommend Dave Henderson to create the water feature of your dreams”.

“This letter is to commend you for the great work of art that you have created in our backyard. Our waterfall, satellite rocks are awesome!! From the start of the project we felt like you not only were a professional but also willing work with an uncertain schedule, several different sub-contractors and long days on the job. Now that the project is finished we wanted to say thanks and hope that you come by often and bring other prospective customers.
It’s not often that you can have the level of trust and confidence that you gave us. Not to mention we had so many great compliments already. I hope that you have taken some pictures of the finished product. If not please come by”.
Roger P., El Cajon, CA, (via written letter)
“Dave: Hung out at the pool this weekend with friends. The waterfall is the
hit of the backyard and has become the central point. What initially
was a discretionary expense turned out to be a great investment.
Everyone said that it was like a Disney Land experience. Thanks for
a great piece of work.”

“My artificial pool rocks had the rebar showing through making them very unattractive. Dave diagnosed the problem, took corrective action by replacing rebar where necessary and encasing it in concrete the way it should have been done in the first place. Dave is a delight to work with. Good attitude & attention to detail. Big thumbs up!

“Our home had an existing pool that was in original 1960’s condition. The pool plaster and decking were in need of replacement, and we wanted to add a rock slide to the mix as well. We were referred to Dave, and we consider ourselves incredibly fortunate that we met him.
Our lot is terraced, with the pool on the lower level. Our original vision was to have a slide that used a portion of the slope, and perhaps work that into the surrounding area with some decorative rocks and/or a waterfall. Dave recognized the potential of the project. On his first visit, he produced a quick sketch that was just amazing, and he seemed truly excited at the prospect of taking on the project.
After some revision and discussion with him, he was able to extend the slide almost all the way to the top of our upper terrace – a total length of almost 40 feet. In addition, the small waterfall became a large one – flowing down from the top of a swim-in/step-out grotto that forms the backdrop for the deep end of our pool. The structure incorporates several areas for planters, hides our pump equipment, and its scale and shape fit the lot and other pool landscaping perfectly.
We found Dave to be extremely personable and very open with information on his construction process. It was truly a family experience to watch his weeks of rebar framing turn into a solid structure within a matter of a few hours of blown concrete, and then within a few more days into rocks that are as convincingly realistic as any of us has ever seen. Dave has come back out to the site a couple of times to check in on his work, its appearance and how it is functioning for us. We couldn’t be happier with the support behind the product.
Above all, our kids and their friends have been thoroughly enjoying themselves. We expect that someday they will be able to tell our grandkids about “Mr. Dave” and this wonderful structure.”
